So I'm so excited! but first, I use the ministry assistant app on my phone to log my hours and return visits and such and today finished my goal for this month. Well, in the app you can set you hour goal for the month and after I put in my hours today the app showed a big happy face and said congratulations you made it as an auxiliary pioneer! isn't that so cute. anyway, my phone wont let me take a snapshot or I'd show it off but that made me very happy.
Okay, so I've been feeling lately like I'd really like to have a bible study but wondering how I would schedule that into my service routine and make it fit with the kids. So I've been pondering it and praying about it trying to decide what times would work if I could find a study and if I would be able to get a sitter for that hour or so. SO anyway... Last week I was doing rv's and 2 of my rv's asked me if I would study with them. That has never happened to me before! I'm so excited. I went back today to both to make sure we are still on for our scheduled times and to deliver their books.
One study asked for a time that would work for me since she knows I have the kids. And my mom has been so kind as to volunteer to babysit :) The other sitter wants me to go during school hours so her kids wont be there so I was worried about having my kids. but she only wants to study for 15minutes a time so a fellow pioneer sister has volunteered to watch my kids for me during that time.
with God all things are possible. I'm so excited and hope to bring more good news regarding my ministry soon.
Also... my oldest daughter (Cassandra age 7) has a reading tutor who comes to the house twice a week. The tutor asked her what she wanted to be when she grows up? Cassandras answer... a pioneer. :) the tutor asked what is a pioneer and Cassandra explained that a pioneer goes to peoples houses and tells them about Jehovah and gives them books to read about Jehovah and does free bible studies with them.
I almost cried when she told me! It seems all my hard work is paying off :)

Closing the ranks
A sister in our hall made this service bag and some hair bows for my daughter. They are so cute and I'm very grateful for the few sisters who support me in service.
I was thinking of ranting and complaining about those who moan and complain when I am assigned to work with them. For some reason there are those who feel pioneering with children is wrong. I disagree.
Since I began pioneering not only has my faith in Jehovah grown but my children are learning how to speak up for the truth and aren't afraid to defend Jehovah. They also have a living example that work and material things aren't the most important and no matter what, we always put Jehovah first.
Instead of focusing on those that would discourage me from my service I pray to Jehovah for strength and lean on those handful of friends who have encourage me; either with their words or just by working with me in the ministry.
A special thank you to my supportive sisters(and brothers). And a big encouraging word to those thinking its just not possible. Remember, with Jehovah anything is possible!

Update
Here's a few photos of my adventures in pioneering these past few months with the kids. I'm proud to say that yesterday they did a 6 hour day with no major meltdowns.
Either they are getting better or I am.
I'm so proud of my little pioneer partners!!!
